Precision measuring system for measuring the diameter, wall thickness and straightness of thin-walled pipes.

System for the control of geometrical sizes of cylindrical pipes is designed for monitoring the outer diameter, wall thickness, gage interference, roundness and straightness of cylindrical pipes. The chamfer and the length of the product is controlled additionally.

The system provides automatic control. The system outputs all controlled parameters, indicating the validity of results (by color or in any other way) to the computer and printer, with reference to the part number, indicating the date of control and the name of operator.

The system generates a graphical display of the pipe profile, displaying the absolute scale dimensions and tolerances. System software provides storage of control results in the database;

All the necessary gauges and calibration products can be manufactured.

Accuracy:

• outer diameter - 1 µm;
• wall thickness - 2 µm;
• ovality - 2 µm;
• straightness of the outer surface axis - 0.01 mm;
• wall thickness at the two inner grooves - 2 µm;
• linear dimension of outside chamfers at the two ends -2 µm.

The system is manufactured for a specific product according to the agreed terms of reference.
